Rotorworx are proud to employ some of the most experienced game work pilots in the country.
Our helicopters are available for aerial photography and surveys, for a wide range of industries. Aerial photographs have the advantage of providing current pictorial views of areas which are either inaccessible or necessitate a bird’s eye view.
Certain fruits, most especially cherries, are sensitive to unseasonal rainfall which can damage the fruit and ruin the entire harvest. Our helicopters hover low above the trees, slowly drying all rain drops or heavy dew from the fruit. It is an extremely effective process which prevents the loss of important export fruits.
The majority of Rotorworx’s summer is occupied eradicating the presence of fruit flies in the agricultural sectors of the Western and Eastern Cape. Fruit flies spoil all fruits and some vegetables, hindering overall production and export figures.
Rotorworx offers country-wide aerial spraying services, primarily to the agricultural industry. Cash crops like mielies, wheat, soya beans, canola and potatoes are typically sprayed at an average of 30 litres of water per hectare volume. Volumes may fluctuate according to the types of chemicals used and specifications thereof.
